An answer was offensive

The Boomer is told to be out of date, not cruel: no hateful, sexual or mean-spirited answers, and the joke is on the Boomer, never on you. AI models still slip. Send us the screenshot at the email above, or use “Report this answer” in the app, and we'll look at it and adjust the Boomer's instructions.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, nothing to install for the website, and the phone apps are free.

Does it remember me?

No. Questions and answers aren't stored. See the privacy page.

I got a busy signal instead of an answer.

The model was slow or too many people were asking at once. Wait a moment and try again.

The Boomer showed support phone lines instead of a joke.

Some questions sound like someone might be in real trouble. When that happens, the Boomer steps aside on purpose.
